Ingredients

Pretzel Bites
  • 60 pieces snap pretzels
  • 30 pieces mini Snickers bars I used a 9.7 ounce bag
  • 1 cup almond bark about 4 squares of bark
  • 0.25 cup crushed candy canes optional garnish
  • 1 packet festive sprinkles optional garnish

Equipment

  • Sheet Pan

Method

  1. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Take half of the snap pretzels, lay them out on the sheet pan, and place a mini Snicker bar on each pretzel.
  3. Bake in the oven for 3-4 minutes or until the chocolate starts to melt and the inside is soft.
  4. Quickly remove from the oven and place the remaining half of the pretzels on top of the melted candy bars. Gently press down to create a sandwich of pretzel with the snickers bar in-between.
  5. Place in the freezer to chill for 15 minutes.
  6. In the meantime, use a double boiler or microwave to melt the almond bark.
  7. Once the pretzel bites have set, remove them from the freezer and dip only half of each pretzel bite into the melted white chocolate.
  8. Sprinkle the pretzel bites with crushed candy canes and/or festive sprinkles, optional, while the chocolate is still hot.
  9. Place the pretzel bites back on the sheet pan to let the chocolate set (about 20-30 minutes).
  10. Use a nice plate to serve the final product.
