Ingredients

Nutella Cruffins
  • 374 g refrigerated puff pastry
  • 80 g Nutella
  • 2 Tablespoons mini chocolate chips

Equipment

  • Muffin Tin

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a muffin tin with baking spray.
  2. Unroll the puff pastry on a clean surface, with the long side on the bottom and spread the Nutella evenly across the puff pastry.
  3. Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips across the Nutella.
  4. Roll puff pastry up from the bottom, as tightly as possible, to form one long roll.
  5. Cut each roll in half to form two shorter rolls, resulting in 4 rolls total.
  6. Now cut each roll in half lengthwise, exposing the inside layers, to get 8 half rolls.
  7. Roll each half up tightly and tuck the ends underneath and then place in the prepared muffin pan.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 33-35 minutes or until the pastry is cooked through. Uncover and bake for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown and crispy on the outside, optional.
  9. Let the cruffins cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan and serving.

Notes

These cruffins are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes to restore their crispiness.
