Ingredients
  

Truffle Mixture
  • 120 g peanut butter
  • 60 g unsalted butter softened
  • 42 g powdered sugar
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.125 tsp flaky salt
Chocolate Coating
  • 113 g dark chocolate chopped
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
Garnish
  • to taste g chopped peanuts
  • to taste g flaky sea salt

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the peanut butter, powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and salt.
  2. Use an electric mixer to beat the mixture together. If the butter is too soft, freeze for 20 minutes.
  3. Scoop out 10 balls of dough, place on a baking sheet with wax paper or silicone mat.
  4. Freeze the peanut butter balls for 20 minutes.
  5. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together using a double boiler or microwave.
  6. Remove balls from the freezer, dunk each into the chocolate, and drain excess.
  7. Place truffles in the fridge for at least 5 minutes to set.

Notes

These truffles are rich and decadent, perfect for a quick dessert. For variation, try using milk chocolate or adding a pinch of cayenne for a spicy twist.
