Method
- Bake the cake according to directions on the package.
- Let it cool completely. For quicker cooling, place in freezer for 45 minutes or overnight.
- Crumble the cooled cake in a bowl using your hands.
- Stir in frosting into crumbled cake, ½ cup at a time, until the mixture holds together.
- Roll mixture into balls or discs and place on a baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Melt white chocolate candy coating as per package instructions and dip each cake bite in it.
- Place coated bites onto a pan or wax paper to set. Refrigerate if desired.
- Melt red candy melts and drizzle on top of set cake bites using a resealable bag.
