  • 1 box red velvet cake mix follow the package instructions for additional ingredients
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 4 tbsp butter softened
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2-4 tbsp milk adjust for desired consistency

  1. Plug in your waffle iron and let it heat up. Once heated, spray generously with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix with the ingredients listed on the box. Stir until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the center of the preheated waffle iron. Use about ½ to ¾ cup of batter per waffle.
  4. Cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions, or until the waffles are set and slightly crispy on the edges.
  5. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth and fluffy.
  6. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until fully combined.
  7. Slowly add the milk, whisking until you reach your desired consistency.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over warm red velvet waffles.
